Your game stays in your browser

Footballion does not require an account. We store your Daily progress and deadline, completed scores, streak history, Unlimited question history, and sound preference in your browser's localStorage under keys beginning with footballion-. We do not send your typed answers or personal game stats to our server. These records remain until you clear the site's browser data. Clearing them resets progress and statistics.

Hosting and fonts

Vercel serves this website and may process technical request data such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and access time for delivery, security, and operational logs. Google Fonts may receive your IP address and browser information when fonts load.

Optional analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics,” Google Analytics uses cookies and technical information such as browser/device details, visited pages, referrer and approximate location to help us understand traffic. We do not load the Analytics tag before you opt in. We do not send typed answers or personal game scores. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled for this integration. Your choice is saved in localStorage under footballion-analytics-consent. Use “Analytics choices” below or on the game home screen to change your choice. Declining or withdrawing consent does not prevent play; withdrawal stops future collection and removes this site’s Analytics cookies but does not erase data already processed by Google.

Advertising

The site supports Google AdSense. When enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, identifiers, your IP address, and information about visits to this and other websites to deliver, measure, and personalize advertising and prevent abuse. Ads are not loaded by our code when the publisher setting is disabled. Reserved ad units sit outside the game and after the result statistics.

Read how Google uses data from partner sites and Google's privacy policy. You can manage personalization in Google Ad Settings. Where available, use the site's consent message or privacy choices link to manage or withdraw consent. Blocking cookies or ads does not prevent play.

Your choices and requests

You can remove local game data using your browser's site-data controls. We cannot restore data that has been removed from your device. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, or opt out of certain advertising uses. Contact us to exercise applicable rights. We do not sell game answers or personal statistics. Advertising providers' handling of data may be considered sharing or targeted advertising under some laws.

Contact messages

If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to send. We use it to respond and investigate your request, retaining it only as reasonably necessary for that purpose and applicable obligations. Do not send sensitive information in an answer or support message.

Children

Footballion is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information should contact us so we can address it.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
